The Kogi State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), Hon. Amb. Ogah Okpanachi Mark, recently held a strategic meeting with prominent Nigerian entrepreneur, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, in Owerri, Imo State.
The engagement took place during a gathering of City Boy Movement leaders and members in the South-East, aimed at strengthening the organisation’s activities in the region and advancing its grassroots mobilisation agenda across Nigeria.
Hon. Ogah Okpanachi Mark attended the meeting alongside members of the Kogi State chapter of the movement, joining other key leaders in discussions focused on youth participation, leadership development, and collaborative initiatives designed to support national growth and unity.
The Owerri meeting was hosted by the South-East chapter of the City Boy Movement, under the coordination of Obinna Iyiegbu, who currently serves as the regional coordinator following his appointment by Seyi Tinubu.
Widely known for his influence in business and philanthropy, Obi Cubana has played a significant role in expanding the reach of the movement within the South-East, bringing together young professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders committed to development-driven engagement.
The City Boy Movement emerged during the political mobilisation that supported the presidential campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and has since evolved into a platform promoting youth inclusion, grassroots participation, and community development initiatives across Nigeria.
Sources within the organisation described the Owerri engagement as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the movement’s structure across geopolitical zones and deepen collaboration among its leaders nationwide.
Hon. Ogah Okpanachi Mark’s presence at the South-East gathering was also seen as an opportunity to reinforce relationships between the Kogi chapter and other regional structures of the movement.
