Nigerian author, diplomat, and political commentator Reno Omokri has taken a bold symbolic step in support of the City Boy Movement by planting the movement’s flag on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.
The symbolic act was shared in a video circulating on social media, where Omokri is seen holding the City Boy Movement flag at the snowy summit of the iconic mountain.
According to the post, the gesture was made in strong support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his re-election bid, as well as the leadership vision associated with the Renewed Hope agenda.
Mount Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, stands at approximately 5,895 meters above sea level and is widely regarded as the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. By taking the City Boy Movement flag to the summit, Omokri delivered a symbolic message of solidarity and political support.
Omokri, who has been known for undertaking adventurous global expeditions and political advocacy campaigns, documented the climb and shared the moment with supporters online. He reached the summit in just three and a half days during his Kilimanjaro climb.
Supporters of the movement described the act as a powerful display of commitment to youth-driven political engagement and continued support for President Tinubu’s leadership.
