Seyi Tinubu Launches Nationwide Fasting Relief Packages

The Grand Patron of City Boys initiative, Seyi  Tinubu, has commenced nationwide distribution of fasting relief packages across Nigeria’s 36 states, in observance of the holy seasons of Ramadan and Lent.

The outreach is aimed at supporting citizens during the period of prayer, reflection, and devotion.

Organisers said the programme underscores a commitment to fostering unity, solidarity, and national cohesion across religious and regional divides.

Speaking on the rollout, a representative of the Grand Patron, Oluwatosin Shoga, described the intervention as a demonstration of unity in action and leadership rooted in service. He said the significance of Ramadan and Lent lies in the shared values of sacrifice, generosity, and compassion.

“These seasons remind us of the principles that bind us as a nation. Through this nationwide outreach, we are reinforcing our belief that progress is strongest when communities stand together in mutual support,” he said.

The fasting relief packages are being distributed through coordinated efforts by state chapters to ensure effective grassroots engagement and broad reach. The programme covers both urban and rural communities across the country. The initiative, organisers added, aligns with its broader advocacy for youth engagement, community development, and inclusive national growth, reaffirming its commitment to promoting civic responsibility and community-driven progress nationwide.
