Dear Distinguished Leaders and Members of the City Boy Movement (CBM), Kogi State Chapter,
I bring you warm greetings and sincere appreciation.
Over the past few weeks following the APC primary election in Kogi State, I deliberately stepped back from active political engagements to allow for personal reflection, strategic reassessment, and much needed rest. During this period, I also had to contend with malaria, which temporarily affected my ability to participate fully in our activities. Thankfully, I am now much stronger, healthier, and ready to resume my responsibilities with renewed energy and commitment.
Life happens. Challenges come and go. But true leaders and committed members understand that every season has its purpose. Today, we move forward stronger, wiser, and more focused than ever before.
I wish to specially thank every executive, coordinator, ward leader, local government coordinator, and member who reached out through calls, messages, prayers, and words of encouragement. Your concern and support were deeply appreciated and will never be forgotten. Your loyalty to our movement demonstrates that CBM is not just an organization but a family united by a common purpose.
As we return to full activities, let us remind ourselves that our mandate remains unchanged and sacred: to mobilize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda and to consolidate support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's development driven administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Personal ambitions will come and go, but the collective mission of the City Boy Movement must always remain above individual interests. Our success will not be measured by who gets what position but by how effectively we contribute to the electoral success of our party and the continued development of our state and nation.
I therefore urge all members to avoid actions, comments, and tendencies that promote division, ethnic sentiments, tribal politics, or unnecessary factionalization within our ranks. CBM is one family. Kogi State is one. Our strength lies in our unity.
Whether from Kogi East, Kogi Central, or Kogi West, we are united under one banner, one vision, and one purpose. The enemies of progress thrive when we are divided, but victory becomes inevitable when we stand together.
As many of you may have seen from the recently released framework for the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour, significant opportunities lie ahead for the North Central Zone. Nasarawa State has been designated as the host state for the North Central engagement, and this initiative is expected to provide empowerment programs, business grants, training opportunities, scholarships, ICT support, agricultural empowerment, community development projects, and youth focused interventions.
For Kogi State, this presents an important opportunity to showcase the strength, organization, and effectiveness of the City Boy Movement. The framework clearly requires states to engage their structures from the ward and local government levels, identify empowerment priorities, and present impactful community projects for consideration.
This means work has already begun.
Our structures must be revitalized. Our coordinators must become active. Our local government teams must reconnect with members. Our ward structures must be reorganized and strengthened. We must prepare adequately for our forthcoming inauguration activities and position Kogi State as one of the most organized and productive chapters in the North Central region.
The task before us is enormous, but so is our capacity.
The Renewed Hope National Youth Tour is not merely an event, it is a call to action. It is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and to prove that Kogi CBM remains a formidable political force.
I therefore call on every member to put aside grievances, distractions, and personal differences. Let us refocus our energies on the assignment ahead. Let us rebuild, reorganize, and recommit ourselves to the ideals that brought us together.
History rewards those who remain steadfast in difficult times. The road to 2027 has begun, and every day counts.
Together, we shall strengthen our structures.
Together, we shall mobilize our people.
Together, we shall deliver outstanding results.
And together, by the grace of God, we shall contribute significantly to the re election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term.
The work continues. The mission remains clear. The mandate remains sacrosanct.
Thank y'all . 🤝
